"Kaiserschmarrn is divine! Upon entering the establishment one morning, a man with a unique accent asked me if I had ever been there. "First time!" I replied. In seconds, I was handed a small paper cup with Kaiserschmarrn. It was like a fluffy sweet batter that smelled and tasted divine. It can be served with sweet fruit or savory bacon or sausage. What a brilliant idea! I'm sure Kaiserschmarrn is served in Heaven, but I asked them to consider opening a restaurant in DC in the meantime. It's that good! Kaisy's is a family business with a sweet story. I love that.

"Went to the Lewes location; had the Kaisy, breakfast sandwich, quiche, and iced mocha and all were delicious. Staff was very friendly, food came quickly, and the dining area was cute and very clean (bathrooms too!). Stopped twice throughout our trip because it was so good. Thanks!"

"I had my first taste of Kaisy' s today at the Lewes location. It was so good! The atmosphere/decor was very charming, and the staff were very nice. The menu has a wide variety of items in addition to the Kaisey. I definitely will make a return visit."

"I went to the new Lewes location today. I was greeted warmly and enthusiastically. I ordered a latte, which was made to my specifications and was excellent...and less expensive than Starbucks. I hope that the new location is a success for the owners and staff."

"Love the Lewes Location! We really enjoy our visits to Kaisy's Delights and are thrilled they added a location in Lewes! The staff there is so friendly! The pancake/ice cream treat is delicious and the coffee creations are fantastic, too!"

"LOVE this place! Been there 4 times in the past 10 days with friends and out-of-town visitors. Thank you Nathalie for bringing this cute little restaurant to Lewes! Your staff is always friendly and your Kaisy's are a true delight. The Drive-Thru is brilliant too!"

"This cute cafe decked out in pink decor is near the boardwalk, on Rehoboth Ave. Free samples available. A Kaisy is like a chopped up fried pancake. Friendly staff, fast service. I had the medium Kaisy with whipped cream and a side of peach compote. It was quite delicious and satisfying for breakfast even though I'm typically not a pancakes for breakfast person. There are many different fruit toppings and ice creams to choose from. I also had a latte and it was perfect. Prices are reasonable. Highly recommend this place for breakfast or even just as a sweet treat any time of day."

"We had the Kaisy with homemade strawberry compote. Very delicious and something we had never had before. We also tried the fresh, house made latkes which were served with sour cream and homemade applesauce. The coffee was top rate as well. The owner was enthusiastic, helpful and friendly, as was the young man who helped to prepare the food"

"While in Rehoboth for the Polar Bear Plunge I visited Kaisy's. Wow! The owner was so very nice. I couldn't help but try latkes, sausage and potato pancakes. Everything was delicious! The latkes were cloud soft and had an almost creamy consistency. The potato pancakes were yummy and the sausage was as good as I've had anywhere else! Can't wait to visit again!"

"We were the first in for breakfast. The lovely young lady who was tending the grill, I apologize for not getting her name, was very helpful in discussing the food and drink options and telling us a bit about the restaurant. We had had a very meh breakfast elsewhere the day before and so were desperate for a good morning coffee! We each had a breakfast sandwich of egg, bacon and cheese on the freshest kaiser roll I've ever had. The bacon was really very good. The young lady offered us a "taste" of the Kaisy when it was ready off the grill - wow! If we weren't so full, we would have order one! It is a unique treat not to be missed. A charming place...great coffee, really good food."

"I walked into the cafe on Christmas Eve in the late afternoon. I was not sure if any food places would be open on Christmas, so my plan was to pick up breakfast food for the next day. The sign on the front door indicated Christmas hours: 9am to 6pm! I spoke with one of the owners. He reassured me that they would indeed be open and even offered me a large sample of the delicious Kaisy. Instead of taking food with us to reheat the next morning, we went back on Christmas Day. No regrets. We loved every morsel of our Kaisy and other breakfast sandwiches so much that we returned the day after Christmas. The only regret is that there is not a Kaisy's Delights located near us in Timonium, Maryland. Oh, one more thing - the family who owns this cafe is very hospitable."

-Kathie

"Kaisy's Delights is a wonderful find right on Rehoboth Ave. Open all year around, they serve specialty coffees and a version of the Austrian pancake they call a "Kaisy." We had the sweet version, topped with whipped cream--delicious! Coffee (a latte and a cappuccino) was great, too. Service was also friendly and most helpful."

-Frank M

"Just had to go here based on all the wonderful reviews we read.... And boy was it worth it!!! The owner was EXTREMELY energetic and invited us in to sample the latkes that form the basis was the kaisy. It was soft and moist and warm.... Melt in your mouth kind.... It was then topped with whipped cream and strawberry jam and simply... Heavenly!!! We also got the goulash soup which we basically potato soup on steroids and the breakfast sandwich which was based on over easy eggs so filed with ooey and gooey goodness!!! The coffee was as good as advertised and reviewed too.... High recommend!!"

-Eugene L

This place was great! The staff was friendly and patient with newbies; very accommodating! The food was great, the Kaisies melt in your mouth and the coffee was warm and comforting. We brought out pet in and she loved looking out of the window and watching the people go by. The place is clean, the bathroom was clean and the next time we are in the area we are definitely going back! Worth the indulgence!

"What a treat! Are they waffles? Are they pancakes? Are they pastries? yes, yes and yes! All rolled into one delicious mouthful. Whether it's breakfast, lunch or snack, these delights are fantastic. And the owner is so personable and kind. Once you have one of his samples that he shares out front you won't be able to resist. Frankly, I'd take this over almost any dessert to be found at the beach!"

-Linda C

"If you're visiting the Boardwalk at Rehoboth Beach, visit Kaisy's Delights - you'll be glad you did! I'm always one to try something new and I was amazed by how delicious Kaisy's "pancakes" were! You can enjoy them sweet or savory - I sampled one and it was so tasty that I ordered mine "plain" with just powdered sugar. Stop by and learn how "kaisy's" were invented by mistake - this is a friendly, wonderful place to stop for a unique experience."

"Delicious food and coffee, with exceptional, kind customer service. My experience was all positive. When I had a hiccup with my hotel reservation, I needed a warm place with free WiFi and a light bite to sort things out. I stopped into Kaisy's Delight and was delighted. Some special things, they: give free samples/bites of the amazing Austrian pancakes and have fresh cinnamon to shave into your latte. Not to mention, the atmosphere is bright and welcoming. Thank you for a great experience!"
